THANKS FOR JOINING ME...
I view life in chapters, each one made up of a series of events that lift you up or bring you down. There are beautiful chapters, tragic chapters, and transitional chapters — but they are all interconnected to make you who you are today. My life has had all of the above, but it’s the hard-to-read chapters that have influenced me the most. Over the years, I’ve learned to turn trauma into triumph and have had to face the ugly task of accepting one’s worst moments as part of their story. But, it is — it’s all my story.
I failed out of college freshman year. I got divorced after three decades of marriage. My daughter died at the age of 6 months old. I’ve watched my business crash, my relationships struggle, and my mental health tank. I was diagnosed with ADHD late in life.
I have also graduated from college (LSU, Geaux Tigers!). I found my life partner. I have four miraculous, wonderful children. I’ve built thriving empires that sold for a hefty sum. I’ve sat on the board for six different organizations. I’m an active volunteer in my community. I’ve reclaimed my purpose.
They say hindsight is 20/20, but if I’m being honest, I wouldn’t change a thing.
I’m a firm believer that, without the downs, the ups wouldn’t be so great. As the ebbs and flows of my career and personal life have propelled me forward, I’ve learned the power of changing one’s story to transform one’s life. I have uncovered my passion for sharing my experience and the hard lessons I’ve learned with others to help them avoid such pitfalls.
I stopped being a victim in my story so I could become the hero. Won’t you join me on this journey?

Understanding where you are and what you are dealing with is a start. Whether you are dealing with an Inner Critic, voices of disapproval from the past, or even a late-life ADHD diagnosis like myself, for women the feelings of insecurity, being an imposter or the lack of support are more common than you think.
